Recommended Materials

WIthin our school there are certain materials students are required to purchase for their training as well as other materials that will be helpful to them in their studies. This page is to make you aware of some of these materials.

Required Materials - My Kids / Soaring Eagles / Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do   

 Protective Sparring Gear is required to participate within the various class sparring portions. This equipment is available through "gearBugg" on this site. Students should try to purchase these materials within the first several weeks of class.

*Prior to ordering, members are recommended to try on equipment for proper sizing at our school.

 Uniforms - The students of New Heights wear White V-Neck uniforms complete with the USCDKA Patch over the heart and USCDKA logo on the back. These uniforms can only be purchased through your Instructor.

 One on One DVD Video Series of the USCDKA required Forms. Each of the 8 forms required to achieve 1st Degree Black Belt are available to assist each student in the learning, and perfecting of their forms.
 Student Portfolios - Portfolios have been used in the USCDKA since 1967.  We have constantly refined and developed easy ways for you to track your progress in a systematic Portfolio based on your rank.  Portfolios are required for all “Blue Book Schools” upon testing for Black Belt.  Records are easy to document with instructions, tabs, and a CD with all the materials needed.
