To our Zeeland Recreation Participants!

We are so glad we had the opportunity to meet you and your family members through one of our recent Zeeland Recreation Programs. Some of you have expressed interest in how you may be able to continue through one of our on going programs. This page is to help answer some of the questions we hear after every session. We hope you find the answers you are looking for, but if not, please feel free to contact us through our email at contact@newheightsfitness.com

What Now?

Q: What is the first thing I should do?
A: The first thing you should do is to click on the following link and get on our mailing list. This way we can keep you informed of upcoming events or specials.  New Heights Mailing List

Q: We have enjoyed our time at New Heights and would like to know how we can continue?
A: We are so happy to hear this. The programs we offer through the Zeeland Recreation Program are small samples of the types of things we do in our regular ongoing classes. While the Zeeland Recreation Programs are only 6 weeks in length, we run our regular programs all year long. You are welcome to browse through our website to find more information pertaining to our programs by using the menu items on the left side of this page but we will try to give you a condensed look on this page. (Be aware that if you leave this page, you will need to go to the link we gave you in your recent email to return to it, so don't loose that link. You might wish to save this page as a bookmark in your browser)

Q: What classes do you offer as "on going" classes?
A:  We are currently offering  the following classes:
        Mighty Kids - Ages 5-7 - Meet once a week (Thursday, 5:30-6:15pm)
        Soaring Eagles - Ages 8-12 - Meet twice a week (Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-7:30pm)
Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do - Ages 13 and up - Meet Twice a week (Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-7:30pm)
Kardio Kick (Aerobic Kickboxing) - Ages 12 and up - See Class schedule
*Note: We are in the process of establishing a regular on-going Family class. Please let us know of your interest in this                     program.

Q: Do we have to sign up for a certain amount of time?
A:  Our ongoing programs are on a month to month schedule. We do not utilize contracts or anything binding you to a long term commitment.  Fees are paid at the beginning of the month through our auto deposit system. Historically, as long as a student remains active in their training, their fees will not change unless they change programs, or if they suspend their membership for a period of one month or longer. In this case, they will then pay current rates.  It normally takes students about 3 months to earn their next belt ranking.

Q: What are the costs involved for classes?
A:  As with anything, there are costs. At New Heights we try very hard to offer rates that competitive as well as "family friendly". Following is a tool you can use to estimate costs for our various programs, or combinations of programs. Be advised that these prices are generally estimates and actual rates may differ slightly.

Other costs:
There is a $20 one time enrollment fee.
All programs have some type of required gear or uniform associated with them.  (Kardio has recommended hand pads)
The Soaring Eagles and Adult TKD programs require a textbook that is used in class. (~$30.00)
The Soaring Eagles and Adult TKD programs require joining our larger organization. The US Chung Do Kwan (tons more on this later) but,  This has a yearly fee of $30.00.
There are testing fees and "NEW" belt costs with our TKD programs.  These vary depending on when you or your child gets promoted to a new level within their program.

Q: You mentioned "gear and uniforms". What are the costs involved here and how would I get them?
A: Great question, New Heights has worked out a special deal for our students with the worlds largest Martial Arts Supply Company to give you the best prices we could find on the web for your materials. We utilize a website called "gearBuGG". You'll love the great prices we've arranged for you through this site. We challenge you to find better pricing. In most cases you will find discounts of 40% or more.

Q: When can I start and what do I have to do to get started?
A: You can start any of our programs at any time. We ask that you email us and let us know when you plan on coming in so we can have things ready for you. You can save some time by filling out the liability form ahead of time and bringing it with you? This is a standard risk agreement found in most any physical program.    "click here for liability form"

Q: What do I wear for my first class?
A: You may wear anything comfortable to work out in.  You will want to quickly get the proper gear for the class (recommended within 2 weeks of starting class).

Q: Can I just sign up again through Zeeland Recreation as we did for this past session?
A: You are welcomed to go through any of the Zeeland Recreation Programs as many times as you like, but be advised that the Zeeland Recreation Programs are simply samples of our primary programs and participants will find a lot of the same materials being used from session to session.  If you enjoyed your experience through the Zeeland Recreation Program, we'd love to have you drop them an email saying so. Click here to send them one right now .    Zeeland Recreation     Thank You

Q: We really enjoyed our experience and would love to someday continue but it isn't possible at the moment. What can we do?
A: We realize that everyone is busy and scheduling new events into our lives is often difficult. What you can do is to click on the following link which will ask you for your email address. We will then keep this information on hand and include you in future special announcements concerning New Heights and our programs.  New Heights Mailing List
